Directions: Respond to this email as if you are Simon Brown. In your email, give TWO reasons and make ONE request.
Dear Mark,
|
I do apologize for having missed the deadline.
|
I need to receive sales reports from all the branches by the end of each month; however, South Side branch frequently fails to submit them to me on time.
I talked to the branch manager when he missed the deadline again last month, but it seemed of no avail because he missed the deadline again this month.
I wonder if someone from the head office could talk to him directly, that would be much appreciated.
|
Regards,
Regards,
|
Simon
Dear Mark,
I do apologize for having missed the deadline.
In fact, I am having the same trouble here. In order to submit the regional sales reports to the head office by the deadline, I need to receive sales reports from all the branches by the end of each month; however, South Side branch frequently fails to submit them to me on time. I talked to the branch manager when he missed the deadline again last month, but it seemed of no avail because he missed the deadline again this month. I wonder if someone from the head office could talk to him directly, that would be much appreciated.
Regaeds,
Simon
Question 7
From: Janet McKenzie, PTA President
To: All PTA members
Subject: PTA Fundraising
Sent: March 5, 7:23 P.M.
Dear all members,
The PTA has been asked to organize fundraising events for the sports teams that will participate in tournaments overseas this year. Please let me know if you would like to participate in these events, and whether you have any fundraising ideas.
Regards,
Janet McKenzie
PTA President
Directions: Respond to this email as if you are a member of the PTA. In your email, ask ONE question and make TWO suggestions.
|
Please let me know if you would like to participate in these events, and whether you have any fundraising ideas.
3. タスクはask ONE question and make TWO suggestions.
Dear Janet,
I would be delighted to take part. Do these events need to be 'sports' related? If so, I suggest we have a parents Vs students football/hockey match and try to collect sponsor money. Also, I think something like a bake sale would be good. We could make it part of the sponsored event as an after-match fundraiser.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you need any more help.
Regards,
Bruce

asking questions=「質問をする」
making requests=「要求をする」
giving suggestions=「提案をする」
giving a piece of information=「情報を与える」
describe/explain problems=「問題を提示/説明する」
offering help=「協力を申しでる」
| |
I wonder if you could tell me when you are available. When will be convenient for you? When are you available?
