I totally understand how you feel about studying kanji. I had a bit of a hard time with it myself. This may seem a bit obvious, but the best thing to do is write, write, write. With new kanji, the best way to get it into your head is repeated writing. Also, don't think you have to learn kanji one by one. Learn 'compounds' or common groups of kanji. Finally, don't get discouraged. Learning kanji is a slow process, but if you keep at it, you'll be able to read before you know it. Hang in there and if you need any help, let me know. Later, Aki
