When it comes to gathering information, which do you prefer reading something or
watching something?
なぜそうなのかという理由を含めて記述してください。

Thanks to the Internet, it has become very easy to get information about anything you
can think of. There are countless articles about every topic and an endless stream of
videos you can watch to get the information you need. For the most part, I get the
information I need from reading. If I'm talking to a friend and need to verify an idea
that I have, I'll quickly google it to find the facts or statistics I need. That being
said, if I'm looking for instructions on how to do something, I like to go to YouTube.
For some reason, I find it easier to follow instructions if I can see exactly how
things are done. YouTube is also good for product reviews. If I'm thinking of buying
something, I always check YouTube for a review. So, if I have to pick a preference,
I would say I prefer reading when I'm gathering information. However, it really
depends on what information I'm looking for.
