Although I can't see myself using a robot companion, I can totally see how one
could be incredibly useful in certain circumstances. My grandparents live in a
really small town and don't get much company. It's quite obvious that they are
pretty lonely because they called me quite often but don't really have much to
say. I have a feeling that if they had a robot companion, they wouldn't feel so
lonely. The modern world is quite lonely because everyone is doing their own
thing. I'm sure the robot companions would help a lot of people by making them
less lonely.
